Word 2007

If anyone uses Word 2007, you may or may not have noticed the newest version sucks big hairy balls, slightly similar to Tralfaz. Has anyone else had the same experience? Anyone have the same opinion?

I don't know much about LO, but what's the difference between them, anyway?

They're basically identical.  I have yet to find a single difference between the two.   It's just that Libre is the default for Ubuntu.

Seems to me that a few things that were Add-ons in Org are now 'standard' for LibreOffice...and LibreOffice is now self-incorporated away from Sun, which should have pluses and minuses for the future.

As to Office 2007/2010, so far as opinions go, I far prefer the layout of Office 2003 and prior. The tabs in the current renditions make it a pain to find functions and you need to change between them far too frequently for my taste. But it's probably mostly a case of comfort/familiarity.

Harder to learn because I'm used to the older versions....and things aren't where I think they should be.

Aside from my own bias I think its pretty nice.
