If you mean that after a certain time, after more influence from the outside world comes in, they get chain mail and new armors, it might just fit in with my plans, a little differently though.

What I'm planning is, assuming I keep some amount of interest and enthusiasm as well as succeed with the coding, to release the mod in 3 parts, progressively. The parts would be very much like the chapters in storymod, of which so far there are only one. I can't promise I'll be going anywhere near the level of detail and immersion that storymod gives, but I'll try my best. Each of the parts will be related by the story and a follow-up of the last one.

Sounds good.

But it can be misused by lazy people, so you better password protect the other parts with a code that you get when you finish the part before that part.

But, someone might miss it, so you should make another unit that you get after finishing part 1, that always tells you the code for part 2.

Password protecting might be a little too hard or just not worth the effort. Instead, I would make a simple code/word that you get depending on how you finished the part before it that you choose when starting a new game in the next part, so that you start off almost completely where you ended, except for things like items and parties.

Would anyone like to hear an outline of the storyline? It would be a spoiler to most, but at least you could add your suggestions about it, and refine it tht way.

I can, but send it by PM in that case, so you don't spoil it for someone who doesn't want to spoil it.

Sent the first part, enjoy. If anyone else would like to help with making the storyline, I can send them my draft as well.

Orwiz, back to school. Honestly, is there a language you are fluent in.

Yeah, take a little more time on your posts. It'll help your message be clearer, and save you some edits, apologies, and explanations.

Well i am in school at class 7 :???: in finland  but if i would have an idea for a storyline where should i send it.

I already have it planned, it's just that I was asking people to help me perfect it. Thanks for the offer.

OK now i (well i think that i know) where is the storyline cuz i read the texst from the page 1 so it sounds weery good but if people (well i mean people in the game) thinks that there is werevolves and deamons in the forest why those who live in that forest would be weared at someking of that they looks like deamons or other creatures?? (sorry for my bad english but just at class 7)

you should make it so you have to do some sort of mission, maybye it involves going to some obscure place (the road there is of course rife with baddies), and then once you get there you can be a diplomat, and try to get the government of the said obscure land to join your side like in storymod, and then your troops not only get uniforms, but your new allies join you in your fight and give you access to their troops. maybye this place of which I speak can be like an eastern asian peoples, or maybye you can lodge them atop one of the many mountains, and you have to slowly traverse the peak (make the terrain there be really difficult) and fend of some sort of bandits or yetis if you dont want a tonne of realism). I dunno just a suggestion.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I already got the storyline pretty much planned out, so now I just need to put it into play. I won't have the time to do any work on this for the next few days, so don't expect any progress till around next week.

I've been working silently at my own pace, and enjoying no one asking for almost a month. School's end is letting me have less and less time for this, since I have tons of unfinished assignments and I gotta get ready for my exams as well. I'm also working on the podcast a little, but I won't forget my mod.

Anyways, I got most of my scene props in-game, and they work fine apart for a few weird collision meshes that are a quick fix.

Here's a test of some of them, the only screenshot that I bothered taking.

I'm finishing the exterior of the palace thingy tomorrow, so I'll post an update of that if I can.

Finally, I'm trying to script my first village, which isn't turning out really easily.

I'm hopefully going to get scripting tutoring from Winter, though the bad part for my mod will be that I would have to work on porting Storymod to .808

Well, private tutoring if you wish, and I'm not going to have to port it all by myself, just parts of it. It's okay with me, since I'm sure I'll end up taking more time if I had to figure it all out by myself. I mean most of the tutorials for things like adding new towns and stuff are outdated or for the unofficial editor.
