Well... I have loved it, ever since I bought a key for it a long time ago well back in 2005.

Recently got back into the game, and it feels like a whole new experience! It actually feels like there's a singleplayer component rather than just mechanics with a very loose binder. Not liking the sieges, as those need worked on.

But anyways, got a feel for the game for a couple days on normal mode, where I could save and stuff... and I admit I was a habitual saver and reloader... so things went my way pretty often as if I horribly screwed up or got captured I would reload.

That got old quickly, so I started up a realistic-mode game... and early on things are really going my way! First I found about four to five of my favorite npcs that seem to mesh well together.

I also enrolled in three tournaments... and won all three! That was a fantastic feeling, made even moreso since I'm on realistic mode. First one I didn't bet any money since I didn't have any. Second one I only bet on the last battle... won a little bit. Third one I bet more and won close to 190 gold. Not much I know, but I am trying to be fairly conservative. 60 Renown almost right off the bat!

I'm glad the good times are coming early, because I know I'm soon going to be in for a world of hurt as I venture out more into the world and test myself to greater lengths in this realistic mode, which I've never done before since playing. I have everything up as high as it can be realistic wise(other than auto block direction), and my battle count is set to 150 with the battle changer tool.

Anyways, just wanted to share my joys, as I'm getting back into the game once again. Really liking a lot of the new changes and graphics overhaul, but I hope that sieges are seriously revamped to be made fun.

Nice to hear
Actually I was taking a break from this too a few months ago, but then something inside me said go play m&b, haha.

It called Mountandbladepanornermerialorcosis.

Commen among the players of popular independent medieval themed computer game called Mount&Blade.

Man it's 7 in the morning and it's time to go to bed! Been up all day again playing this... last time I was on a 12 hour straight sprint. No other game seems to captivate me quite as much as Mount & Blade. Even games I really love and love to play like the Grand Theft Auto series... can't hold me for 12 hours straight.

Haven't lost a single battle yet and I'm level 11... things are going good so far! Though on the other hand, the next 6 tournaments I entered I lost, and haven't won another one yet. Some right off the bat, others right near the end.

Sleep time...

Mountandbladepanornermerialorcosis:

A condition often resulting in cramped hands, bloodshot eyes corresponding with a loss of sleep, loss of appetite, and sudden and severe moments of relationship instability in social seclusion.

Treatment: Unknown.

Cure: May be cured by playing a sequel to Mount & Blade, which as of yet has not been discovered.  Warning, such treatment may lead to Mountandbladepanornermerialorcosist 2.  Symptoms and cure options for Mountandbladepanornermerialorcosis 2 are not known yet.

Personal Note:  I'm quite happy with my condition of Mountandbladepanornermerialorcosis, though my wife may not be, and she seems immune to it.

Frankly,it's been a very looonngg time since I found a game that keeps me up to three A.M.I think the last one was X2 when it was new.I just wish I had found out about M&B about 10 versions ago.

Yeah.  I've been back and forth on this game too.  Each time it only confuses me more as to why I stopped playing.  It truly is a great god damned game!
