Ah well - the steam group is there, for more as a community towards the tournament. So I can see which people are interested of doing this tournament, an easier way of keeping contact with contenders and able to keep an eye out for future jousts if this is successful!

By the way, thankyou very much for sticking my thread.

Ah nice, 15 contenders, this is good. If we reach 16 and there are 2 or 3 more who want to join, then seeing as Wolfpack are the host's, that we give up our places if nessassary. 

If even more want to play, I shall create another list; those who apply but have no spaces. When spaces are avaliable, people who are on this "backup" list will be invited to join in the tournament, starting from whoever applied the earliest and going in order from when people registered.

I apologise greatly for the very small amount of spaces, I would run a 32 player tournament if Wolfpack had a 36 player server (4 Wolfpack members to help monitor and run it). The good news though, at the start of July, the Wolfpack Den server will be upgraded to a 48 player server! (Hurray!) Allowing a much larger tournament to take place, if this one is a success.

why are you giving up your spaces? I'd like to play against you. Couldn't we set up a system where after elimination, they disconnect and the other contender can connect? The steam group would help facilitate that.

This could work indeed, though, the risk of doing so is that it takes a little longer.

Ok, we can do the 32 player tournament then. If we split the competition into 2 groups, with the finalists of each group playing in a grand final?

So say if the first group starts at 16:00 BST (British time), the next group plays maybe an hour later 17:00 BST? With the Grand final straight afterwards?
