Wolfpack Jousting Tournament. (Regisiter HERE)

Hello everyone!!

Now you might have seen me attempt to host a few other competitions, didn't work out really, but this is something totally different and fun! The tournament will be a simple knock out round, starting with 16 or 32 players.

Rules:

1) Do not be abusive to other players!

2) Do not duel whilst waiting for your turn to joust!

3) If you kill your opponents horse, you automatically lose, the idea is you kill the rider!

4) If both riders or horses are killed, then they must re-duel and joust again! Obviously, they will be teleported back to the arena.

5) Have fun! No point throwing a fit if you lose! Its a game!

6) The most IMPORTANT - COUCHED LANCES ONLY!

I actually thought about making a tourny like this. Could you perhaps add an archer accuracy tourny and a duel tournament as well? Make it a kings finest tournament with all 3 lol...

Kings finest? Good idea for the name indeed, along with making the competition all 3 events. Problem with accuracy training however is that summers aren't nessessarly hard to hit unless you have the collegium when you face each other.

With the armours? Hmm ok, I see that even though its 1 hit kill, having armour would look more fun. Having a Red mail with tunic over the top would be more idea, and then chosen horse as warhorse? I'll set gold limit to 10k and see how I can balance it out.

Well... not entirely sure what you mean by "Royal rumble" however, it will be a 16 player tournament, with 1 v 1 jousts. It will be a simple knock out round. A few of my mates have tried it, they said it was quite fun to do, and actually takes a bit of concentration lining up the horses paralell with the fence, as close as you can to manage to hit the opposition. Riding to close to the fence slows you down.

You need to get as close as you can, as the models are right handed, with the lance in the right hand and jousting across the body. You charge down the right side of the barrier.

If both players miss, they must take their positions at each end to charge again.

Of course you can!  Anyone can!

Ahh good good, its growing... slowly... but its growing!! Woo!

Now I know its still 2 weeks or so until it is held, but the reason why I want to make this a single event every few weeks is to build up popularity and see how it goes! Its quite fun I must admit, something different.

Yeah British Summer Time (BST) because the UK experiences DayLight Saving Time (DST) along with loads of other countries during the summer. Technically, the only European country which is still GMT is Iceland, I'm not too sure about Portugal though.

Basically, from EST which is East Coast I assume, that is 5 hours behind the UK, 6 behind Europe.

I shall find a little timezone chart to put up later for any one else that wants to join, but unsure of the timings.

Ahhh 7 Competitors so far!! 9 Spaces left! Maybe I might make it bigger, randomly seeded, yes... it doesn't make it even, but I can manage to work around 1v1v1s too if this become popular!  I don't know... XD

Not a big fan about the horse killing rule. Not sure how it was in the middle ages, but I don't think they killed each others horses. Make the one who kills the horse lose the duel instead?

That, my friend, makes far more sense! It's infect easier to kill the horse than it is the rider. :p good rule, I shall add that as soon as I can.
