Daylight Saving

Please note that for most of Europe Daylight Saving means the clocks change at 01:00 AM, 31.03.2019. From Sunday the 31.03.19 we will be using BST. Please double check your match schedules.

Drop Out

Luso Hogs have dropped out of the tournament. That leaves Division C with an even number of teams again, the threads have been updated accordingly.

Statistics

In order to ensure that all stats are correctly written to the logs, players are advised to neither leave the server nor to change the map until the round after the concluding round of each set is started.

Extensions

If you are unable to schedule your match to be played within the deadline you must contact an admin. If teams continue giving themselves extensions then the admin team will start handing out defaults.

Tie Break Factions

As suggested by the community the rule for tie break factions was changed from each team choosing a faction (as they both always chose Nords) to a predetermined randomly selected mirrored faction. Repeat factions were not allowed.
The factions for the tie break map Winterburg have been randomly selected as follows:

Deadline Shift

The deadline for the semi final matches in Division A and B as well as the week 7 matches in Division C has been moved to Tuesday, 23.04.19, to accommodate for the easter holidays. We would like to emphasize that Monday and Tuesday are therefore to be treated as regular match days for this week, and not just mere extensions.

Deadline Shift

The deadline for the final matches in Division A and B as well as the week 8 matches in Division C has been moved to Monday, 29.04.19, to accommodate for the shortened practise time due to the deadline shift of last week. We would like to emphasize that Monday is therefore to be treated as regular match days for this week, and not just a mere extension.

Deadline Shift

Due to the sheer volume of requests the deadline for the final week has been shifted back by one week. The deadline for the matches will now be Sunday 5th May. 

In order to prevent a repeat of non scheduled matches, any match without an agreed, posted schedule by 19:00 BST Monday will be given a randomly selected schedule by the admins of either Saturday or Sunday at 19:30 and a randomly selected server. In the event that teams do not agree a match time the team that turns up to that server on that date and time with 8 players will obtain a default win.

Post Season Promotions

We expect the community to have changed significantly by the start of next season: On the one hand, most likely not all teams will participate again next season anyway, on the other hand other teams will have changed at least in their playing strength. Since a functioning division system is all about balanced playing strength within each division, we think it's in the best interest of all teams to make the post season promotions dependent on the playing strength of the affected teams just before the next tournament, and not on their playing strength from half a year ago. Therefore the post season promotions will be played out right before the start of the Warband Native League Season 8.

Warband Native League, Season 8

Based on our estimations, the eighth season of the Warband Native League will roughly start around October 2019. For the meantime, Charlini and his team have already announced the Warband Innovation Series, and from what we heard there will most likely be another tournament taking place during summer.
