What does "huge final" mean? Polish Cup '12, '13 and '14 also had a "huge final".
Does the prizepool is the main factor which decide if tournament is major or not? 1100$ and 17 winners = 64,7 $ per person. WFAS players had 100$ as a prizepool for the winner (one person). And yeah, it was a duel tourney, so should they count it as their major tournament (btw it was poorly organized)?
I bolded something that you seemed to look over when you read his statement. What Sjaeles is trying to say is that the WPL is the biggest NA tournament since UNAC 1 (which is the best NA tournament). Why is he saying that? For the following reasons; it had 16 teams (which is the most of any NA tournament), it had around 400 players (again the most of any NA tournament), 74 average viewer count per stream (again the most of any NA tournament), and 4 sponsors (again the most of any NA tournament), 12 stable servers (again the most of any NA tournament), 1100$ (largest prize pool ever). So I'll clarify, he isn't saying the prize pool is the main factor, he is saying it's a factor.
Also, by "huge final" he is referring to the views the WPL finals stream had.

There will be a WPL2, it's essentially the new UNAC.
SIDENOTE:
I don't really care if you count the WPL or not, after all it's your cards, but please don't toss the WPL aside like it's an insignificant tournament.
