Have you tried the CoMP or the original version of the map? I thought I had fixed that in CoMP :-/
The one which is installed on WNL servers
I'm not involved in WNL in any capacity, so I won't know which version is installed on WNL servers. :shrug:
 
Myself and Maynd (mainly Maynd) will be updating the server this evening. All map submissions are welcome. We've removed the maps that got accepted previously and the maps we consider not really worth working on. The maps that remain are the ones we think, with some changes, could potentially be used in the next half of the cycle.

This evening I will be sending out PM's to all the of map creators who have maps on the list in the OP. This PM will explain what changes we'd like to see in order for the map to be accepted. If you're unwilling to make the changes, or similar ones then it's unlikely (though not impossible) that the map will be used.

I'd also like to take this moment to thank a few people. Wolfpack for hosting the testing server, the creators of the maps we used in the 1st half of the season who were extremely willing to make changes, and finally to everyone who submits their maps for submission. It's great that you guys take the time to create these maps and even the ones that haven't been accepted were all beautiful looking. Particularly Ostrich Egg and The Abbey, those two maps were frankly amazing.

I'll send you a PM later this evening with a more in depth breakdown but I think the main concern was cavalry accessibility inside the village. Could do wider avenues etc.

What is Hill Valley Open Map by Schakal ?

- Hill Valley Open Map by Schakal also known as Hill Valley ( Yes, I saw Back to the Future! ) is an open Map made for the Warband competitive scene.



And what?

- The map is designed for 8 vs 8 up to 25 vs 25 (hope so) and is suitable for Deathmatch, Team-Deathmatch, Duel and Battle, yes even Battle what a surprise.




Few words about the map itself!

- First team spawns in a very small village ( very small one just 12 people live there ).

- Second team spawns infront of a castle ( which is NOT accessible ! ).

- Even if it looks like it no spawn is in favour.

- 3 Flags. All of them are reachable by all classes.

- Camping is useless.

It is my first Battle map so it is presumably totally crap. Feedback is always appreciated !

Oh, I might just make a new map, till when are map submissions allowed, as I won't be finishing it before the end of the week?

We'll close submissions by Friday but the earlier the better really as we'll have more time for testing.

The looks are nice, but for a competitive map I think the flags are too far apart. It would suffer from the same problem as Dry Valley judging from the screenshots.
