These guys are usually around the edges of the village, outside of the buildings or out in the fields sometimes even, near haystacks.

I'm stuck on a quest from King Carl Gustaf of the Kingdom of Sweden. I'm supposed to meet a spy in vilna, which has been nothing short of frustrating. I've searched the whole damn town from corner to corner. I've looked for stationary characters, but they're all guards and store npcs. That leaves the npcs randomly moving around, checked those too. No spy in sight, I've talked to all of the townspeople. I've tried all of the secret phrases on the townspeople that are supposed to help me find out who the spy is so I can take his/her report to Carl. Maybe there's some sort of order I have to use the phrases in or something.
Please help?

try looking in midday and if no success, give it a couple of hours (in-game). Also check if you have the wrong town. Happened to me many times.

Edit: turned out to be one of the villagers wandering around, tried all of the "secret" phrases. I guess taleworlds finally figured out a stationary quest npc ina town/village is too obvious. Like hunting outlaws, I searched all over one of the villages with no luck. Tried riding around the edges and I noticed a house near the corner of the map way away from the village.
I'm playing WFaS on absolutly lowest settings 1280x800 res, 150 battle sizer. When I start like 2nd or 3rd battle fps suddenly drops to 10-12. While ago I've checked it at 640x480 and it's the same - first, second battle is smooth, then I got the slide show. I've tried directX 7 and it's the same. PC is asus K50IP, 4gb ram, geforce 205m with 512mb ram, t4400 core2 processor 2,2ghz, newest drivers, windows 7 home premium. Is my comp to old or something's wrong somewhere else? I add that got the same with warband (but it's a bit better - like 4-5 battles to slide show. I'd like to do something without changing battle sizer.
EDIT: solved, just needed to use vacum cleaner on ventilating holes

First, my english isn't the best, so I hope I'm understood.
In the search I don't found any about a key-problem.
My problem is, my key is one character too short for the activation. I have bought the Collectors Edition by Amazon and the installation with steam and the key worked.
Now, I want to start the game, a new screen says, that I need to type down the key to play the game in the full version, not in trial. To use the activation-button, one character of the key is missing for me.
Does anyone know this problem?

Try every letter until it works. A bit annoying, but it should work. Once you figure out the last key just write it down and you will have it forever.
How to get hussars and reiters?
In the troop tree they changed? but in play they jyst caome with recruit, experinde, veteran and elite?
