{WIP} Pyramid Head (from Silent Hill) in Mount & Blade

Users who are viewing this thread

Hey there.

Michael Valentine, I'm extremely new to the M&B Modding Community, though I am a vet from the Elder Scrolls Modding Community. I'm known as a Scripter who knows the secrets of circumnavigating the Game Engine.

Other than editing troop trees, factions, and party_templates...I cannot do much right now. Not to mention I'm more geared towards C++ rather than Python. And I have limited Blender skills, but not enough. But anyways, on to the point.

To those of you who don't know who Pyramid Head is, click the link. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pyramid_Head  Also make sure to Youtube him, cause he's awesome. XD

What I would be very much interested in seeing within Mount and Blade, is Pyramid Head! From Silent Hill. Not as a hero on the field that which the only thing you can do to it is kill it a million times. But as an actual Hero or Troop you can recruit into your party! Imagine, having a 10 foot Pyramid Head mowing down all your enemies! XD It'd probably make more sense to have Pyramid Head as a troop, because there is a lot of evidence there can be a couple of them at least. And even though it is shown to be VERY hard, Pyramid Heads can die. Not to mention I doubt Pyramid Head would take to you equipping onto it, a horse, clothing, armor, or helmet.

!!!EDIT!!!: Misho and I are now working on getting you all your very own Pyramid Head. :cool: Stay tuned.

Hmm.. shouldn't be too hard, really. Okay, beyond my capacities, but I think all you need is a huge pyramid shaped helmet and a big armour which looks like a tall body with that silly apron. :???: And his weapon, ofcourse.

Ok, you cant make his legs that tall but his helmet can definitely be easily made :grin: (in the movie he is walking on these pad-like things shown in the making of...)
which means he can be about 5 foot tall (his hatty reaches that much) and he would have to move really, really slowly :grin:
in the movie he rips the skin off this woman :grin: we cant make that FYI :grin:
he is actually human size in pics..

I can help with modelling, i am pretty experienced...

What would it take to kill one of those bad boys?

I can honestly see this guy killing like twenty people before he goes down.

@MISHO
Ooooh! Fantastic. If his helmet can definitely be made, than I will get you some detailed pics, if you'd like. I have a LOT of pictures of this guy. (one of my fav things of all time, is Pyramid Head) It's no problem if he can't be huge like I would want him too. The original Pyramid Head started out only slightly taller than the Main Character of Silent Hill 2. heh heh, don't worry. Not looking to make it so he rips the skin off someone. lol. I know enough about game skimatics and scripts to know what can and can't be done.heh heh. Any chance we could get his "skirt" like thing, or his skin like that? His battle skirt is also his trademark. lol

If you would help me with the model, and get it so that it will work in the game. I could add him to the troop trees, party templates, factions and even the world map myself.  ha ha. Just gotta find where to put him. lol I can also make him REALLY slow, Which would be a good balance to his terrifying strength.

So? XD what do you say?  :grin: Wanna help me with the model?

@Goromous
Oh this bad boy's a toughy. Stronger than...a lot of things. And VERY hard to kill. I can however, balance that out by making extremely few of them around. And within their parties, 2 at max. Not to mention, these things are VERY VERY slow. So, it does have it's counter-balance .Even though if a Lord raided one of things with a party of 80. He would likely take at least a few casualties before this thing went down.

You should just make him uber skilled, and place him as a bandit or traveling party on the world map by himself. Let him cut your troops to pieces before you have at him.

I'm making Zombies right now, and if it helps I can give you a tip.

Make the armour heavy as f**k. That, I believe, is the only way of making a super strong character slow.
Via the module system, the maximum weight of an armour part is 36... lets call it units. 36 units.

And the maximum strength you can give him is 30 I believe. As you can notice, I'm new to this.
If anyone know of a way to increase the weight or strength, please correct me.
