thank you for teaching EnglishI suspect it's so that an opposing army has a chance to counter attack just as soon as you're finished sieging without having to re-siege again. I really never cared for it but it's a hold over from Warband days.
@haleondk btw the word you should be using is not weekend it's weakened. Weekend means the end of the week for most people that means Saturday and Sunday. Weakened means sickly or not at full strength.
Lol there's a lot of other thing they should worry about giving the AI a chance to do first! Like a chance not to have their entire garrison shot to death by one dude, who magically can stop time once the siege camp is built, despite it being an all-day event IRL. A chance to NOT let Korte decide to make peace with that one guy for 3k immediately after said siege.....The "to give the enemy a chance to save without sieging" is pretty stupid to be honest, because thats not how it works in real life.

Your army really should be in town after successful capture.

vhen You Siege, You should be able to tell a Lord or your self to break out a small group to take on a enemy lord waiting outside the siege armyI mean realistically you aren't invincible during a seige either, So those parties of 100 men could easily raid supply lines, or just fire arrows etc into the Siege group, and then ride off. Both Delaying the siege and potentially fending it off before it even takes place.
Some things you need to suspend realism for gameplay, Because I'm sure most players don't want to be managing Supply lines, and Pseudo attacks while setting up camp. Most people are already very angry about the caravan system, imagine needing a caravan to supply your siege camps.

and let the siege prep. go on
brw: when U get attacked during a siege, why is the battle field on a different map, and not around the castle ?

yesThat would be a neat feature, as its exceptionally weird no one seems to mind the 1000 men standing around the hill while we set up camp.
As for the Castle field battle, that would be exceptionally neat, perhaps they are working on the scenes themselves? As many of the Scenes have yet to be finished and many are duplicates / place holders for now.
