Windows vs Wine (Linux)

I want to build a PW server that will use scripts. Which is the best for the performance? And how much does it difference?

Pretty sure we ran Avalon on Linux, though I could be wrong.

So many servers, not enough players. This could get bad real quick.

Good luck though. Could use an hcrp na server to replace good old nexus.

Linux is better for management and efficiency. But it's up to you to try it out else wait for others  to comment.

Linux is generally better than Windows when it comes to hosting, mainly due to the massive flexibility of it and the fact that it doesn't have a ludicrous amount of bloatware that Windows Server does (it is also generally cheaper as you do not have to pay for a license, although most data-centres will bundle the license in and just increase the price overall). Ultimately it boils down to whether or not you're capable of managing a Linux distro server, if not, choosing Windows isn't going to severely harm you.
