Windows 7 error

Hey, I got a new computer a few weeks back and was now planning to play Warband on it. But I have a few errors with d3x9_42.dll missing.
I have tried to restart the computer and reinstalling both steam and Warband but I don't find out Where the problem is. So any suggestions?

Try manually reinstalling Direct X. I don't think it has anything to do with Windows 7, when I first tried Warband I torrented (I obviously bought it when I found it was good) it and I never received any problems. Mind posting your system specifications?

AMD phenom || x4 mobile proccesor n930 2 ghz
ati mobility radeon hd 5650 up to 3711mb hypermemory
15" hd lcd
6gb DDR3 RAM
640 HD drive
dvd super multi DL drive
is the stats that I can find rigth now.
And I am seeing about trying to update Direct X.

Have you updated your graphic drivers? Also, try manually reinstalling Direct X.

Well I don`t think it would have anything to do with The graphic card, but When I understands how to do it I most likely will try to give that a shoot.

EDIT: It seems like the reinstall of Direct X worked. But is it just me or is it always something wrong when you install Steam?

I am happy it worked, I think its just you. To be honest it could be anyone, sometimes we have to do some thing manually ya' know.
