I just upgraded my system and now cant get mount and blade to run at all. I get an error message saying Themida : Sorry, this application cannot work on win64. Is this something new in the .700 uodate, or is this game not able to run under win64 at all?

I heared about a 32 bit emulator somewhere. By that time it was "planned".

I dont believe a 32 bit emulator would help, because Win64 has an excellent built in emulator. This is the only software Ive found that hasnt worked with it so far. Im probly going to put my old machine back together to be able to play the game, Its just I really wanted to see how it would run on my new power house pc. I had dreams of huge battles and high framerates.

I just checked my email and I recieved a message from [email protected] saying that they will have win64 abilities for themida in the very near future. Heres hoping that includes preexisting software using themida like mount and blade.

Hi,

I wrote to Themida's author and asked about 64-bit support and he said that that's what he's working on right now and that 64 bit support will hopefully be ready by next month. I know that this is still inconvenient but at least the problem is going to be fixed in time.

Hooray for win64 compatabilty!!! I can now have the little funeral Ive been planning for my old pc
