Will this outdated PC spec be enough to run bannerlord?

Hey guys, I have Warband (Vikings) & run it on max settings fine with 250-300 battle size. Do I need to upgrade my PC for bannerlord or would it be able to run it? I apologize if this question has been asked many times before.

My PC specs are a bit outdated:

Intel I7-2600 @ 3.4GHz - 64 bit operating system
16GB ram
AMD Radeon HD 7800 Series

If I do need to upgrade, what cpu/graphics card would you suggest to run it on max settings? I don't really care for super large battle size as long as the graphics are neat.

You will probably be able to start a game and play it on low with not so many agents on battlefield.

def try to upgrade cpu and gpu ,for example 4790k is great for bannerlord and its not expensive and buy some used 1070 or 1080 gpu.

I have a i7-2600k, 16GB ram and a GTX 970 and I´m running the game fine. I´d heed Varadins advice though and get yourself a better CPU and graphics card. I´m probably going to upgrade some time soon in the future as I want to be able to enjoy the game to it´s fullest.

Your CPU has similar performance to what's in my laptop (i7-7700HQ). My laptop also has 16GB of RAM and a GTX 1050Ti. I am able to mid-sized battles (200 troops) on very high settings with consistent 60fps and large battles (700-1000) on medium settings with 40-60fps.

Based on this, I would prioritize upgrading your GPU over anything else.

If you want to research and compare CPUs/GPUs/etc, https://www.userbenchmark.com is a great tool to do so.

It all depends how much you want to spend.

Top tier option is probably the GTX 1080 TI, if you're looking higher at like RTX 2080 TI you could find your CPU will bottleneck the GPU because it can't keep up, but I might be wrong about that.

Mid range is the GTX 1660 Super or TI, around £200-300 and can easily run the game on max graphics, this is what I currently have and it is a monster card for the price.

If you want to save some money, consider AMD Ryzen based PC. For the same price you will probably get better performances compared to intel cpu's.

Is this ture? Im not tech savy but dosen't Ryzen split between more cores? Ik Warband was very limited with how many cores it can use, so couldn't it be similar with Bannerlord?

The bit your looking for is the bottom question "HOW WOULD YOU COMPARE THE ENGINE FOR BANNERLORD TO THE ORIGINAL ONE? " and the 2nd paragraph.

They have at least been working on multi-core tech and parallelism. I think bannerlord will support multi-core, much better than warband (not hard though lol)

Done some searches but couldn't find any new information regarding this subject, guess we will see end of next month  hopefully

Sorry for highjacking this thread but I wanted to know the same thing about my really old computer:

AMD Athlon X4 860K Quad Core Processor - 64 bit os
8GB RAM
AMD Radeon R7 360 Series

Thank you in advance.
