This is a problem in other older RPG games where you buy a high refresh rate monitor but you cannot take advantage of monitor feature because animations are recorded at 30hz, but the rest of the game is running at high refresh rate.

High refresh rate animations are also important for future Esports conpatiility. Higher refresh rates are important for pro players to react faster, so if Bannerlord animations are recorded at 60hz then pro players are wasting money on buying gaming monitors such as BenQ 240hz monitors commonly used in CSGO pro tourneys.
This is important to know.

Will Bannerlord support 240hz animations or are they recorded at 60hz?

I support 'Fun>Realism', therefore, we should aim for 60hz-120hz users so that the majority who play at 60-120hz get to enjoy the game without having to resort to better monitors to deal with 240hz players.

3D Animations can be recorded at any framerate, but the CPU will interpolate the frames, so if the game is running at 10,000,000 fps, so will the animations even if they were recorded at 2fps.

3D animations aren't the same as 2D animated sprites, if that's what you're thinking. Each frame of a 3D animation is just an array of vertex positions. The game can ease between them, hence why slow motion in games doesn't cause the animations to stutter.

Also even if 3D animations weren't interpolated, and bannerlord was a game of 2D sprites or something, the refresh rate of the game itself is far more important than the framerate of the animations. Bannerlord will probably run at over 100 fps for small MP battles which is more than enough to account for input lag or reflexes or anythjng else competitive players might be worried about.
