Wierd computer sound.........

So since the last Hour my computer starting making a 'ssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss' sound... and whenever i touch my tower it make the sound stop...... but then it come back 2 minute later......

Anyone have any idea what that might be?

Open the tower and start poking around. Do you have any sound or computer errors? Besides the sound coming from the tower.

I have that too.  Only happens when I have a CD in the drive 'o CDs.  If you have one in the drive, take it out and see if it's the drive that's causing the noise.

i don't have any error beside that annoying sound.

and no CD in the driver

edit: i opened my tower and poked around...... don't see anything unusual......

Mine used to do this when a wire was touching the fan, I just moved it out of the way.

Quickly, go break down the closest tree you can find, make a work bench and craft yourself a wodden sword!

Tighten screws, recheck connections, etc. etc. It's likely something is loose, as has been said. Either that, or:

i tightened up the screw after opening my computer.
