Why would the world be a worse place if they were shot?  The world probably wouldn't be. Why would the world be a worse place if you were shot? It probably wouldn't be. But you both have family, and people love you (maybe not you rathyr, but most normal people.) They'd miss you, and it might ruin their lives.

And apparently yours was at a very early age. Maybe your dad walked out on you or something, and you feel the need to ruin everyone else's lives. But why ruin lives when you don't need to.
