now that we know why they hate russians (thanks to mr. squirrelz) i wonder why do they love us. and i know they do.

I only care about their Vodka that's where they earn my love for them; I wouldn't look twice if the majority of them decided it would be nice to stick their heads up their own hairy ass sphincters, however. Not that I would dislike them if they did that though, I'm just saying that I wouldn't care very much.

I like Rasputin, the man got stinking drunk every night but he still needed whores. You can't get much tougher then that. I also like the dolls that open and then there is another doll so you open that one up too until you get to the little doll that doesn't open. I liked it when Boris Yeltsen got Bill Clinton drunk and they stood there giggling in front of a press conference.

Ivan Krylov
Dostojevskij
Gogol
Tjekhov
Schostakovich
Prokofiev

... etc.

Because of the cexy cyryllic they have. I can't explain why I like it so much more than latin, though.

How else would Bond parodies get to meet sex ladies called Miss Suckmeoff or Takemeruffliski?

Don't come telling me you've actually read some of their books!

Personally, I like the language. I've started to like eastern european languages in general more and more these days for some reason.

Well, not the books of Schostakovich and Prokofiev
Of course I have and more so, but both Gogol and Tjekhov mostly wrote short stories and Krylov wrote fables, so it's not that exceptional.
Some of the best writers I know are Russians.
Especially Leonid Tsypkin's 'A Summer in Baden Baden' is world class.
