Why isn't anyone porting mods for 1.4.2 beta?

That's a real shame, I really enjoyed his mods on 1.4.1
Same. Some of them do seem to work on 1.4.2 though. I've been using Heroes Must Die, Execution Patch, Getting Old, Executioner Edit, AI Values Life, and AI Defend yourself in my latest campaign and they seem to be functioning without causing issues.

do not forget about us, the beta users!
Well you don't have to use the beta branch, right? Why don't you simply change your branch rather than asking for multiple people to waste their time on the unstable branch? ( No offence, I'm genuinely asking this, what's the point? )

Well there are various improvements on the newest branch.

Well here is what 'Cheyron' has to say about it lol:
" modding this game is just work, this isn't even a game anymore just work, haven't played in over a week, bannerlord became a job and im sick of it... i should never have uploaded any mods, uploading mods is not for me... i want to be nice and share but people ask way too much... i dont do patreon, i dont make money off this, it was supposed to be fun but nah not anymore im not making a guide on how to compile c# source code... cmon! I won't do it because I know for a fact the information is easily available. Any issue you run into I know you can find the answer on google in 5 minutes so no. This is what it really comes down to. I think a lot of modders make their mods for fun, not realizing that keeping them updated and dealing with support issues will become an all-encompassing duty and it becomes too much hassle to keep up with. I'm actually more surprised that so many modders HAVE been keeping their mods updated, tbh. There are a lot who've been updating the same day as the new patches come out.

I know but I don't see how this can be a valid reason. It's not like that branch is hidden away from you for centuries. It's a beta branch. When it's "OK" then you will have it in the main game anyway and modders will try to support it.

I'm personally ignoring all Beta branch improvements because they are simply breaking things up big time.
You must understand that, modding a broken game with reverse engineering is already hard. Creating two different versions and keeping them up-and-running is harder. And to be honest, it doesn't even worth to hassle most of the time

I'm really puzzled by the reasoning. It is BETA of an Early Access.
No one is stopping you from using 1.41.

I have beta tested several softwares. Not one company that produced plugins for any software ever said "OMG too many updates on beta."

I mean the answer is self explanatory.

Beta is not stable, is subject to occasional hotfixes, and is for the devs to introduce things that will probably break both saves and mods. Modding an active beta is bound to be an exercise in frustration for any modders, and I wouldn't blame them in the least for holding off for immediately after hotfixes or just modding stable.

The people complaining about beta branch updates are trolling.
