WHY IS MY RENOWN DECREASING

What the ---- is this?? When I looked at my renown about few minutes ago, it was some kind of 4250. And now when i check it out its 4180. What THE DAMN is this. My renown decreases!!!!! And that example isn't the only one of its kind. It has happened many other times too...

It supposed to decrease over time. You maintain it by fighting in some form or another.

really? i never noticed that.. well i don't really rely on renown anyway.

So thats why you should participate in tournaments when ever you get the chance and the money is also good

Damn yeah i go to tournaments and fight against large armies as much as i can but sometimes i have so much work with garrisoning my serveal castles and towns i have conquered fearing enemy siege armies you see... sometimes i just dont have any time to gain renonw so it would be very pleased if renown would stop decreasing

just put your army in a castle and go soloing once in a while.

can get like 30-40 renown from beating a big party of sea raiders.

They get my attention, at least, because I come in with the hopes that something they say will be banworthy.  It usually isn't.

You have got to read everything!!!

It also is doable if jou just are careful, circling them at high speed first to deplete arrows, then closer to deplete axes and javelins, then use lance and sword to get them on their knees. Of course, you only attack them this way in open plains, but a single character can choose where to fight

You can take out 200 men with just you and your companions without much issue, good for 50+ renown, depending on your battle sizer.  Just make sure they are well armed and don't get bogged down in infantry.
