Why is archers line always perpendicular to the enemy???

Is it me that only notices this problem

Once I ordered the archers to hold ground  line up to against enemy  at the begining of battle

mostly ,the archers line is always perpendicular to the enemy

and followed by  all the soldiers line formation  perpendicular  to the enemy

its so not realll 

Is it still a bug ???

How can  I fix it

I don't think it's a bug... it's been always in this way... troops tend to face the enemy forming a perpendicular line... there should be more orders to move your troops in different ways, but there aren't as far as I know...

I always thought the bots just lined up parrallel to the "Back" and "Front" map borders, ignoring which direction the enemies are comeing from.
