Why don't I see the process of Marshall elections?

First time poster here.  I love the game and have been playing for many hours now.  I used the search function, but I couldn't find this.


I stumbled across a YouTube video of a Marshall election where you actually got to see votes that were cast.  I am playing 1.131 and I have never seen this.  I have seen Marshall appointed and I've even been appointed, but no election screen.  Is this a bug or was this election feature removed?

In 50+ views, no one can tell me if this is a bug or has been removed?  All I want to know is why I am missing out (possibly) on something that looks cool.

lords still vote for who they want to be marshall, but there isnt a big screen showing whose voting, you were probably looking at a video of mod.

when the marshallship is up for election, you can talk to lords in your faction to find out who they are voting for, and you can cast your vote by talking to one of them, though only saying you either support the lord your talking, who the lord is supporting or saying you vote for yourself. you can also convince them to vote for you.

The vid is from the original. You might get better results in the singleplayer section, instead of the multiplayer section.

Thank you very much for the responses.  I didn't realize until now that I was in the multiplayer section.  Oops!


I think that it's a really good thing to have the vote screen.  If any devs are looking, I would like it put back in.

Sorry mate i was one of these viewers and i got to say, I'm pretty surprised its not visible for the player anymore but i didn't feel like posting the same question like you.
