Why does the Armory still looks HORRIBLE?

The lightings were screwed just prior to the release, the characters in the Armory have been looking absolutely disgusting since:

They looked just perfect before this change:

It's been more than a week since the release and the issue is still not fixed, nor did the devs say a word about it. Why? Could this horrible change be... intentional and definitive?

EDIT:
New comparisons with normal settings:

Noudelle pointed this out before:

Don't know how long this will take again to be fixed but +1 for yet another change that was not needed
Thanks, I did only see his other thread. Washed out perfectly describes how it looks now.
It's very annoying for me as I was working on a little redesign project, encouraged by one dev. I don't want to waste my time working on ugly screenshots.

The patches go by and the issue remains.

I tried to tweak the inventory atmosphere.xml file as did @Poncho (here) in order to revert to the pre-b0.9.0 settings, in vain unfortunately. Maybe I could try with reshade.

Also, checking the b0.9.0 patch notes, I noticed this:
Engine Fixes
  • Fixed the issue of blurry characters on the Armory screen.
  • Fixed an issue regarding blood decals.
Could it be the reason behind this weird change?

Seems that i'm the only one caring about that...
You're not, but we won't be having patches anytime soon since Singleplayer is currently in priority, this should be brought up when multiplayer updates become more frequent definitely

I hope so. On another hand I'm afraid this change is intentional and definitive.

If even the UI is brighter, it might be because of the newly implemented brightness and exposure calibration options.
Check out those in the options menu, try to readjust them.

Thank you for your reply.
There was definitely a problem with the new lightings options when I took these first screenshots as even the UI looked brighter indeed.

However I just took new screens with normal settings and the issue is still striking:

The characters still look too bright and washed out, very ugly. I guess something went wrong when someone fixed the "blurry characters" issue (that I did not notice).
That is something easy to fix though.

I agree the new UI is far too bright and looked better previously.
Have you considered trying to recreate the classes in the single player inventory screen and then using that for your reskinning project?
If you enable cheat mode in the engine config all available items appear in the inventory for you to use.

I thought about it, but:
1) the character is too close
2) I prefer the setting of the Armory
3) the lightings are as bad as in the Armory:

Actually the lightings of both the MP armory and the SP inventory are set by the same file (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Mount & Blade II Bannerlord - Beta\Modules\Native\SceneObj\inventory_character_scene\atmosphere.xml). This leads me to think that they changed the settings just before the release of the EA because they thought it looked too dark for the SP masses.

Of ****ing course he did... Someone else brought this up somewhere, I forget where. They seemed to think it was just a change to the lighting. Who knows? Doesn't look particularly "worse" to me, just less bright.
It's actually way brighter and that's part of the problem.
