why does it freeze?

Hi im new to the forums but not to m and b had it for about 2 or 3 months, and I've had few mods installed the custom troops one is very good, any ways I downloaded the sword of damocles mod and sat like a lemon for 10 minutes waiting for it find the textures and right at the end I get this message:

The mod loads for me within 10 seconds or so. Maybe you need a better computer?

Not sure why you have problems. 4.1 runs smoothly for me.

My laptop is more than capable of running this game at standardsettings I't's roughly 80-90 percent been a while since I checked.

so is my PC (not very good but decent enough to cope without many problems at max settings), but it still lags a bit at loading the textures as well as in your case, and sometimes at the start of a battle (with battle sizer at 120)...try lowering the settings a bit, maybe that would help...that is , of course, if you don't care too much about graphics and go for gameplay mostly ...and about that error message, i used to get it as well - re-downloaded the mod and never saw it again

could you help please?

Very simple error.
Reinstall SoD in a separate folder, look in textures for the steppe horse one, and copy and paste it into the other one.
I have had a similar problem happen.
