Why DC fans are waiting for the Snyder Cut?

Everyone is hyped af about the Snyder cut but its clear the main flaws of the movies, being that Batman and Superman are depicted in the most terrible way possible, is all Snyder's fault and he hasn't read **** about these superheroes in order to adapt them, why would any actual DC fan would like to see more of his junk

The film was sort of boring. I don't think any cut will make a difference.
But it's nice people have something to debate and pass the time with.
