Even though the only Army I ever have is just my Clan since it costs 0 influence anyway...
+1 to solo clan armies =DExactly, gathering your own clan's parties costs no influence, hence you should be able to it even when not part of a faction
Yeah there should be way to level up leadership without being a vassal or faction.
Same reason you're trying to open workshop number 5 and when you're talking to a worker to buy it,
you're told "You have as many workshops as you can have."
Because **** Sandbox atm, the game feels like a themepark rpg on all ends.
Maybe not high enough "tier" of XY, maybe we should gather friends and raid an endboss.
I really hope they get rid of all this bull**** or at least make a sandbox-mode without it.

well that would be really expensive, maybe make it even more expensive by introducing a penalty for having a lot of parties, so that you can gather them under your banner, yes, but it requires a lot of resources to do so.Lorewise: no good reason, technically we should get to raise a clan army without kingdom
Gameplay and balancing: so you can't get a bunch of companions who each raise a large party and suddenly you have an army that can rival established factions with a bunch of Lords.

Technically there already is a penalty: you need to pay all wages. That still won't prevent players from burning through savings, easy to have, to finish a specific taskwell that would be really e , maybe make it even more expensive by introducing a penalty for having a lot of parties, so that you can gather them under your banner, yes, but it requires a lot of resources to do so.
Lorewise? One of the objectives of the main quest is to take over and hold an imperial settlement without being part of a faction though... Why shouldn't we be able to raise an army out of our band of marauders?Lorewise: no good reason, technically we should get to raise a clan army without kingdom

That's why I said that lorewise, there's no good reason why we shouldn't get to raise individual armies.Lorewise? More expensive and slow because it wouldn't be a proper army but something resembling a bandit band at least at low clan levels so that you can gather them but you cant just steamroll the whole map with your war band.Technically there already is a penalty: you need to pay all wages. That still won't prevent players from burning through savings, easy to have, to finish a specific task
Again. I still think it would make sense to be able to gather clan armies, but I just like playing devil's advocate and see why we might not get this option
Oh I read your comment wrong xDThat's why I said that lorewise, there's no good reason why we shouldn't get to raise individual armies.

Link to the mod pleaseThat to. Honestly, it does clearly feel like being able to call your parties as an independent is clearly something they intend to have happen just because so much of the game revolves around being able to do this. I guess that is why I am kind of down on Taleworld for not already having this in game.
I guess you could always fall back on mods as I do think I saw one that allows you to call your armies.
Yeah, or at least give them orders where to be or patrol. They just running around and constantly dying.Yeah, I agree, you should be able to gather your clan's parties
