So my current playthrough is as Battania, it started with us at war with the western empire and it was pretty much a stalemate with large casualties on both sides, but we managed to take ground. Then the northern empire declared war. This was fine as despite the two fronts we held our ground and the war but slowly lost the lands that we gained against the western empire. Then the Kuzait join the fun which was entirely pointless. The real kicker was when Vlandia joined and we started losing hard. Now surrounded by three foes our land just got slowly gobbled up. My question is since there how stupid does the AI have to be that when our kingdoms total strength falls so low due to a long-lasting war between Western empire and Northern empire it doesn't thing to sue for peace because now our nation is so weak and vulnerable that if another nation declares war it will sweep right through us. I mean that's just not strategically responsible. Add this with the defection of AI Lords and the snowballing is unbelievable.
