Why can't i change my ver in the epic launcher ? so steam you can change ver's but epic you can't.

Epic and GOG only get the "stable" version (i.e. not the beta ones).
We'll have to wait until the 1.8 is out of beta.

That's a complaint you gotta take to Epic, they do it on Steam because steam as a platform makes it possible.
