Why am I banned from the EU Nexus server?

This happened about five minutes ago, I had no prior warning and I'm abit confused as to why this may be. I logged out to unlodge myself from a point I seemed to be permanently stuck in, to discover I had been banned when I tried to reconnect. My character name is Roland_laVairn if that's any relevance.

Sounds like you were frozen by an admin so he could speak with you and then you left, and he banned you for logging out when speaking to an admin.

I see. Are bans like this time-based or permanent?
