If you want a real explanation...

I'm guessing you have an antivirus software package such as AVG (or a similar one). These packages often contain "web shields" that access links on a page just before you do, or actively scan links on the page you're viewing in search of malicious content that might lurk behind them. Since they don't log into the forums, they show up as guests--thus the source of your mysterious guest.

That is kind of disturbing, actually.

Spanky is absolutely harmless. There is no rational reason for all the crap thrown at him. Big deal, he wrecked his bmw and then took few pics of a happy moment. So what? Sure, he is a socially inept fella, and if his posts bothers you that much, just ignore him.

Who's threads are the most inane and rage-inducing, so I can leave it open on one of them?  Probably the "Plz Ban This Guy!!!" threads from the multiplayer forum would be best.  Those are mind-boggling to read.
