Who Did You Marry?

I married Lady Afrid becuase she was one of those strong no-nonsense types with the furry cloak, also eh only had a brother and everyone else had a family and 32 cousins and I didn't want to have dance for them all so I could get married.

I married Lady Glunde. Her brother and I are good friends (Jarl Bulba).

Whilst I was in the process of courting her, her father (Jarl Irya) decided to defect, and join the Kingdom of Rhodoks.

Then war happened, so I couldn't even get to my darling Lady Glunde until peace was restored. Eventually we married.

Ahhhh yes..

Lady Calantina is daughter of Count Reland, her I married...... Got confused with earlier one cause both are from Rhodok :O

Lady Aesa... I cant really remember why though... I think it was because she was honourable and played hard to get, thus the hunt was on

Lol, in my game she was conventional, that was my first play through so I had no idea now easy I got it.

Count Trimbau was courting a woman I wanted, so I beat him in a duel. Unfortunately, she didn't like it so she wasn't "Interested". So I moved on to Count Reland's daughter primarily because he was the Marshall of Rhodoks. Didn't really matter much when I made my own kingdom.

I married Erenchina.

I married boyar harish. Totally unspectacular.  The guy has neither wit nor ambition.  He's waxing the floor right now.

whats the easiest woman ingame to impress ? i always thought the most "conventional" type

That's quite random from game to game I guess, I mean which lady is attracted by your "greatest admirer" stuff.

In every game I try to marry lady Tibal but it never works for some reason. In my last game I couldn't visit her for about a hundred days because of war, and when I finally did she got engaged with another lord who I couldn't fight for some reason.

And like in every game I end up with one of the blonde Nord-girls, lady Kaeteli in this case.

Wanted to marry Sonadel in my current game - she's the only Swadian lady who actually looked her age (i.e. not about fifty), and she has a tomboy personality too. Sadly she wasn't interested at all when I professed my ardent admiration.

Will probably have to marry one of the bog monsters now. :/

(Yes, you can make fun of my kingdom name. I didn't realize till I had already put a kingdom name down)
Why? Sounds like a pretty cool name for a kingdom.

By the way, since we're on this topic, how do I edit the faces of the ladies so they don't look so terrifying? (I've tried searching for "editing faces", "female faces", even "ladies faces" but all I've found is how to edit the faces of your companions.)

How do you edit companion faces?

Sort of on topic question: I'm running a merc campaign and not intending on being anyone's vassal. However, I just spoke to the father of a Lady about a possible marriage and he stated that no way as I was not a sworn vassal with the right to own land.

Do you actually have to become a vassal to get married? What happens if you're King and run your own Kingdom? Wouldn't that be considered a decent catch?

Your own lords might consider you one helluva catch, but opposing lords would probably think you an upstart, eh?

True, but if you managed to convince another King to accept you as an equal and all that, then it should be pretty legit for one of his vassals to pawn his daughter off, right?
