Who Did You Marry?

In one of my other characters beside my conquerer, I am set to marry a Swadian lady (as a Swadian). But the Lord will not hold the feast and the wedding isn't happening (it has been over 100 days since I paid him). Any ideas WTF happened?

Does being married really change much? It didn't really effect my conquerer since he had his own faction, but does it change anything if you are in an existing faction? and what are the differences between marrying into your faction and marrying into another faction (hostile or not)?

Lady Svipul.  I forget her father's name - he holds the castle towards the Vaegir from Sargoth.  I flirted with a bunch of ladies and she seemed most interested, coincidentally I was good friends with her father also... it was still not easy to win her hand.

Second game, Emir Hiwan.  Not sure why really, he had just one fief so it certainly wasn't for his lands.

That's the last time I asked where she was. ;p Anyways, I accidentally overwrote that file with 360+ days and it was my first. I was rather sad.

I'm currently courting Lady Tuan because she had like a bazillion relatives. Damn incest Khergits. As stated on the front page, she's not one of those bog monsters, that's a definite bonus. Apart from that I went after Lady Bergit in one or two saves because she looked vair pretty. Pity she only had a father, who was rather terrible at that.
