Whistle for Horse

I like to implement the "horse whistle", but sadly it dont work.

1. Whistle.wav is in the sounds-folder.

2. whistle.wav 0 is in the sounds.txt under  town_loop_3.ogg 899 - under that cames the change from 169 to 170 and
the last line is snd_whistle 0 1 766 (the first line on top i have changed to 767)

3. quick_stings.txt changed from 854 to 855 and inserted : qstr_You_whistle_for_your You_whistle_for_your_horse.
just under the line qstr_Reinforcements_arriv Reinforcements_arrive!

But the horse dont come.... :sad:

Could someone help me please?? I have searched the whole forum and do anything to integrate the whistle,
but sadly it dont came to me......

Any Ideas? What i do wrong?

I would have thought that you'd need to patch in code to actually handle a trigger for pressing a button in the battle encounters in order to allow you to call a horse.  Simply adding a sound & a test string are ancillary support for the code, without which, nothing is going to happen.
 
Just had this stupid thought I just had to share.

In the middle of a long boring battle against the Khergits, you are fighting on foot and decide to whistle for your mount, in order to go back to safety. Immediately all of the Khergit army falls hard on the ground because their horses come happily running towards you...
