Ok i currently have a partitioned harddrice (500gb= 2x250gb)
XP & Windows 7

Now i want more hardrive space, but i don't want to keep games on my external os which OS should i go with?
XP OR 7?
I would like at least 1 reason as to why i would not like a simple WINDOWS 7 or WINDOWS XP.

I was just trying to get some help ... lol but seriously, at the moment i'm using 7, going to format XP later and change teh partitions.

Unless you know you have programs you can't run in Windows 7 for compatibility reasons (which should be few and far between), then you have absolutely no reason to dual-boot 7 and XP. Windows 7 is superior to XP in every way.

Still, why would anyone want to use XP right now? There aren't that many programs and games that can't be run in 7 (even the older ones, with minimal compatibility tinkering) these days, and it's far prettier.

Well i transferred my files over and I'm gonna format XP before i go to bed, i already changed the windows logon screen and downloading some cool stuff. Win 7 FTW!

ITS SO SHINY!

Meh, windows classic theme looks the same on both (except for that pesky shortcut to desktop next to the clock on w7).

Yeah. It's just a shame that the windows classic theme is roughly the same size but uglier.
Win7 default theme is bigger, uglier and has much less contrast making it a ****ing pain on the eyes (without having too much contrast and resulting again, pain the oculars). White text on light blue-white gradient ****, no thanks. Classic theme is also easier on the hardware. Simply superior.

also prefers windows classic look.

the windows 7 shininess is insulting to my intelligence.

it's all:

"Oooh look how shiny i am doesnt that make me inherently better than any previous versions even though this extra shininess only serves to slow me down, but dont worry about that because im so SHINY!"
