Which is the best singleplayer experience?

This is probably a loaded question, but having lurked this forum for awhile, and trying various mods for warband,  I feel compelled to ask:

Assuming one has no interest in creating their own kingdom, which game (Warband or Fire & Sword) has the best singleplayer experience? Why?

Right now? Warband.

One boring method of making money is one of my main issues, basically you farm caravans then dump it all into the merchant guilds... and thats it.

There is no other way that doesnt take atleast 10x as long (literally) to get the same money.

I prefer taking over the world the old-fashioned way and rebelling by myself.

I'm a little prejudiced but I liked M&B with bandit king.  Being able to be a complete bastard at the expense of making everyone hate me.

The shortcoming was that when warband came out, it did all the end game stuff I wanted, and like a chump I never ported the mod.

so, warband it is.  I just love the freedom it gives you.
