Sergeant
I'm trying to make a rapid response army with high mobility.  I'm going to be including Elite Rangers for my ranged contingent, but I'm not too sure what to use for infantry and cavalry.  I'm thinking of a small core of Swadian Nobles for the Cavalry.  What infantry has a high pathfinding skill?

I notice a huge difference in speed between 400 Arbalestiers and 400 Elite Rangers...

Arbalesties have more equipament
so more weight
so less speed ^^

well
light cavalry and units with high athletics/agi are better to run
- both map and battlefield
but if you want a balance, get Nords Veterans
they're medium speed and medium-good soldiers ^^

Max Path-Finding, Elite Rangers and Master Crusaders, you will literally out run everything on the map. No lies. Even with an army of 400 you can pull of 7-8 Speed in the daytime with maxed path-finding <_<;
