which faction to play with?

Hi everyone I just downloaded this mod and it's awesome. I only don't know which faction to start off with. I want to make an army of one nation to plunder and loot all villages but I don't know anything about the factions. which faction are the best looking villains?
and if you capture a castle, would that make your faction?

yes, if you take a castle or town without being a vassal, you will be able to form your own kingdom. They also added the option to just loot the caste I'm quite sure. I might be thinking of some other mod though 
If you are a vassal, you can take a castle or town and require that it is given to you. If the king denies, you can choose to take it anyways, and create your own kingdom. You can't do this as a mercenary though.
If you want to plunder the poor villagers of Britannia and Hibernia, I'd go with some south-east factions, like East Engla, South Seaxna, East Seaxe, Cantware or Mirece. The anglo-saxson factions
I imagine collecting a celtic warband would be nice to ravage with too.

I like to play with picts now, very cool troops and it is nice to go south raise some hell and then go back to pictland with your loot.

I'm playing as Alt Clut (Strathclyde), which is a good choice. Right now i'm trying to get all invaders out of Britain and recreate Roman Britain (I conquered Gotoudin and Rheged, my next plan is war with Bernaccia)

I'm pretty much into East Engla right now. Where enlisted in the marshals army for a year, and just became a mercenary, after show great valour in the shield wall

Served in various Gwynedd armies for two years and got a relation of 100 with them. Currently I gather wealth through trade and (sea) raiding to rejoin Gwynedd, throwing those foreigners back into the sea and restoring the old faith.

I prefer to go alone, mostly go Irish and gather a big army of Ires and raid the brits and saxons and all those

I like the Jutes although it pisses me off that they are christian! And their leadership is weak. At least in my game they are loosing all campaigns. So now I`m a vassal of essex but when I will be powerfull enough I`ll join kent and will lead them to many great victories!

What ingame faction do you do that with? Is Alt Clut the closest one? I'm having trouble recognizing the different nations here.

No already existing faction is roman, I create my own. With breton troops however, also there is a quest for restore roman empire in hadrians wall. It was part of my motivation
