It is a day 300.

In my games, first to disapppear (without my help) was: Latin Empire, Kingdom of Serbia,

Then I helped a bit Byzantines to eliminate Crusaders and Mamlukes.

Hafsid Dynasty, Emirate of Granada and Portugal are also very weak, but they still exists.

Factions, that are very expansive im my game are Sicily, Sweden, Hungary, Nicea.

Rest of faction are normal, for example England and France fight themselves without any progress. They conquer one city or castle from opponents, then the opposite faction reconquer it, and it goes like that 300 days.

right now i'm taking out Norway day 58 last castle, with my own kingdom

Day 480

Factions eliminated without my help : Latin Empire, Kingdom of Sicily, Novgorod and Cuman Khanate

I helped Crusader States eliminate Roman Empire, Mamluk Sultanate and Ill-Khanate

Portugal only has one castle left, Crown of Aragon and England really weak

Expansive factions: Kingdom of France, Emirate of Granada, Golden Horde and Crusaders (with me).

War declarations differ from game to game which is good for a diversed game and replay value. The first one I started Serbia didnt go to war with anyone for more than 100 days, in another it declared war immediately on the Holy Romans and Hungary

I think this is a wise thread, nice idea.

After a bit more than 120 days, Serbia, Mamluks, Latin Empire, and Novgorod Republic got respectively eliminated.

Hasfid dinasty and the Scots are really weak. Kingdom of Portugal too (but I am with the Grenada faction so I've helped them).

From what I' have also observed, Holy Roman Empire and Hungary(the green ones that smashed Serbia) are totally overpowered. HRE has more than 8 cities I think...

having over 200 archers in your army is awesome watching them all fire at onetime.
same with 200 houses charging.

total of 458 troops in this photo

In my game Scotland took over most of England and Ireland, the French have also made large gains in England but it is Scotland of all things that owns most of the area, interestingly enough Norway has managed to hold on to Mann for over 350 days.  Other than that I locked the Crusader states and the Mamlukes in mortal combat, they'll fight till one of them is done for (in future versions), this shifts the balance in the area and gives the Romans more breathing space so they are growing as well.

It is a very interesting thread, I tried my best to vary the results between games

It worked. I love it. In this recent game of mine England, Ireland, and Norway immediately devoured Scotland, then France, Norway, and Ireland devoured England. As a Lord of Ireland, I'm quite enjoying this.

Factions eliminated: Ilkhanate, Castille, England, Scotland.

I'm playing as the HRE, and we went to war with Denmark in like the first 10 days, so they were eliminated first.  They were followed within 5 days by the Latin empire, though I didn't see who knocked them out.

Now the HRE went to war with France.  I think we're going to end them pretty quickly because they have been fighting England very heavily, and they have less crossbowmen than the Danes lol.  We took Dijon on the first day of that campaign.

Latin empire has gone twice without my help. First time at day 48 and second time around day 60. I haven't seen any other kingdoms fall on their own.

I play second time, I play Poland, but like in the post above, Bulgarians with Niceans invaded Latin Empire, it has been eliminated after 60 days.

Its a day 305,i play with Serbia. So far the only one eliminated is hungary, but latin empire and sicily are close to be elimineted, they hold only one city each, and no castles. Most of the hungary is Serbia now except few castles which belong to HRE and Halych-V.And Golden Horde is a lot smaller now because we helped our Russian brothers and i dont give them there lords back to build up the army(i got 8-9 of them captured)

Wow, you eliminated HRE, congratulations! They are always tough, even overpowered. That's why I play the campaign on "poor AI" and combat on "medium"

I've played a few characters up to about a year into the game, things I have noticed, England generally gets hit hard by all three France, Scotland, and Gaelic Kingdoms. If Scotland gets out of its starting war with Norway quick, England dies pretty fast. Maranids normally get routed by Aragorn, though the city of Fez holds out for a very long time. Castille is subject to the whims of Portugal, if Portugal does nothing, Hafsids and Grenada usually crush Castille. If Portugal gets involved Grenada normally takes the bad end of this (though I have seen Portugal be destroyed). Moving further east, whoever HRE goes after dies fast, period. I've seen very little happen in Italy in any game, normally a quiet spot. The Tutonic order gets overwhelmed a lot by Lithuania, and normally one of the other northern kingdoms. Latin Empire gets overrun by the Romans, and the Romans tend to be just about the most aggressive kingdom. I've also seen very little ever come from the Russian area, all the kingdoms there don't ever really seem to make any progress in wars. And maybe I just don't pay much attention to the middle east area, but I don't ever see a large amount of movement there, but it has steady combat.

I'd like to try and create a starting power scale that gives a general ranking of how strong kingdoms are at the start of the game.
Off the top of my head I would rank them, 1: HRE, 2: France (though they are fairly passive), 3: Romans.

The eastern Latins get crushed if anyone touches them, that faction is underpowered, maybe it has too few lords?

I have to agree . In my game ( 86 day ) they have only Constantinopole left and they are in war with Serbia and Hungary .

day 120+ Novgrod and Serbia have been eliminated. Im playing as an English lord on settings 85+ hard (I have adjusted my player's strength to stand a chance at least). It was really tough against the French at first until I realised the only way to win battles on the battle field is to have 60+ cavalary. Offcourse they will cost alot but with the settings I've done of 10 for every skill point they vary from 40 - 175 denars. Besides this the loot is amazing. I get so much now that there's not enough money in the towns to buy them

Appart from 2-3 castles taken by the English thats as much progress as there have been. I wish there would be peace so as to attack Scotland and Ireland and THEN take the french. Henry thinks otherwise

Sounds like a lot of editing has been going on

Hell YES!! My fault really... I started playing M&B on super easy so now I want to try super hard but I cant if I die by a stone after 3 steps towards a handful of looters

In my game (156 days) faction eliminated without my actions is:

Halych Volhynia
Latin
Serbia
Novogorod

Factions eliminated with my little help:

Crusaders
Il khanate
and almost eliminated - Roman Empire of Nicea (with two cities - Constantinople and Thesallonica).

Im at war now with Castille and the one above
With Castille because they almost destroy Hafsids and i decided to help them. Castille have takened almost all Hafsid territory and i just took it back from them and give it back to Hafsids.

Ive started as a vassal of Mamluks and with them ive started to eliminate Crusaders. After takeing Trebiezond ive decided to start my own kongdom with some friends in the sultanate at my back. Then I decided to eliminate Ilkhanate.

In my game strong factions are:

Denmark - They takened Novogorod.
England - almost all the islands.
Hungary
Mamluks
Poland - hmm...they fear nothing but...

The defeated crusaders lords returned too teutonic order  Nice:smile: MAybe one go to another faction but the restgoes to teutonics. (Is this planned or just raw luck? ).
