Where will the game be released and will it be translated?

Hi.

According to Paradox Interactive, the game will be published "worldwide". Does that mean that it will be translated in german, french, italian, spanish and all "major" languages? If someone knows please say it, for this would prevent us modders to start working on something which will be done for its release.

Of course it will be translated, it already is translated for different languages.

Almost all the translations have been done by fans, actually.

The only official ones I know of are English and Turkish (I think the chinese one may have been official too, I'm not sure)

Anyway, the likelihood is that if you live anywhere in Europe, America or East Asia there'll be a translation near enough to your mother tongue.

Thanks, that gave me my laugh for the day.  I mean, how dare foreign people think they can make a game and release it in their native language?  The arrogance of primitive foreigners appalls me.  Also, the fact that they have not just one foreign language but lots of them.  I mean, if you don't speak English, nothing you say makes sense anyway, so why have more than one unintelligible language?

I suppose it would be OK if foreign people made a mod, though:

There's a law in France that anything you sell or offer in France has to be in French aswell if you have it originally in English, as far as I know Germans tend to translate everything in German too

in honesty, chances are pretty good that there will be some sort of translation done for people, if not by Armagan and team then by the fans themselves. We'll see.

I am not advocating translating this game to every language, I am neutral in whether or not to translate it at all, though it would profoundly increase sales as it would be available to a far greater number of people.
