Where to find Saxon helmet?

I assume its a saxon helmet,

It covers the top of your head, then theres like chainmail which hangs down and covers your face?

i found it only once in 1.134 when i killed a double group or dena pirates. Never found it again. Saw it in the photos for .135 release so i assume its obtainable?

Go to the "mead hall" and speak with tavern keeper and say : "where can i get special weapons and armors ?". pay 50 scilling to him and he gives you information (the towns and the weaponsmiths)
the go to the towns and "take a walk around streets" and find that weaponsmith and buy saxon helmet, lorical wolf and ...

I think he means the Vendel helmet, I think that just appears in shops or loot randomly doesn't it?

Turns out its a Dena pirate drop

Correct. Its a Dena-Pirate drop. I kill 15 groups of them to get my Helmet. I think there a different Versions of it in this Mod. With leather or chainmail faceguard. You can see them if you turn the Cheat Mod in the Camp-Menue on and browse in the itemlist.

before 1.34 there was a "scandza helmet" that could be bought from the special weaponsmith, has that been removed?

I only ever found the leather faced dena drop, the chain is way better. Like my sig

the helmet in question is called "captain helmet" or the one with chain is "Scanzda helmet"

both i think are dena drops and i agree you need to give bloody lot of them... but that helmet is so cool makes you like this great evil creature
