Where to buy bannerlord

正在查看此主题的用户

I'm pretty sure you'll be able to buy it on steam the 31th, and if not? Taleworlds will have it.

my tought. The Workshop alone makes Steam very worthy for the PC COmmunity. Let alone the Rating system etc.
Precisely, though if it gives you a steam key, there isn't really a difference aside from Steam's cut.

Remember to buy bannerlord on the taleworlds site to support them 100%, for example on steam , valve gets like 30% of it, so you know what to do
Oh yes i want to write it here too. Buy the game on taleworlds site please, for better support to taleworlds and Bannerlord.

They provide no service that is required by anyone but an indie company to help generate sales and fund their games.Have you not noticed how this game has had no issues at all without the Workshop? Use NexusMods.

And Steam is a bane to any game that uses mods since it just loves to force you to update your game no matter what you do which is a constant mod breaker. Games like Skyrim got an automatic download of a cracked game exe to bypass Steam so my mods would not break and I do believe that cracked file had been downloaded some 15+ million times across the most popular sites showing just how many people hate Steam, and that was just one of the many games that Steam just plain ruins.

Now go compare some games that force games to only use mods on the Workshop...The latest releases of games like Total War have less than 20% of the mods that Total Wars games had 4+ years ago. This is across all the games that have pre Steam releases and Workshop only releases. To create a major annoyance when its not needed is just...lol...why?

Nexus mods is annoying to use and Skyrim was not ruined by Steam, Skyrim was ruined by having to have atleast 5 mods to be even playable and 6-7 to even be fun and thats at the very least, i had a friend suggest me mods for Skyrim, they came with a list of 58 must have mods.

First of, most of the "15 Million" People woudnt even know about Mods if it werent for Steam.

About Total War. Iam long time Total War Player, (Since Shogun 1) the Reason why there are much less Mods, let alone Conversions for TW Games is CA politic about Modding. The new Engine simple doesnt allowed Mods like Lord of the Rings or similar. The Last greatly modable game was Medival 2. But thats entirly CA's fault and not Steam Fault.

I agree, the Autoupdate are annoying yes. But many, many more People Play mods just because the are visiable in the Steam Workshop.

Next thing is the Connection between Players, i play a lot more with my friends since i seen and know waht they are playing. And can easly Joint hem thanks to Steam

The Pros are much bigger then the Cons when it comes to Steam.

Steam has brought PC gaming to a new Level. Simple as that.
Without Steam, the battle against Consoles woud be long lost.

Not like this hellhole Epic Store.

I am very confused guys after your comments if to buy bannerlord or not- I have been waiting many years and hard times (with depression) for the Bannerlord release...but now it seems that Bannerlord will be expensive and I will be not even able to play a test version as a reward for waiting 4 years- i lost my motivation for Bannerlord.....

What? it wont be expensive, its its 10 euros less than a AAA titel. Why would comments in this thread make you confused as to you will buy or not? its about weather to buy on steam or taleworlds to reward taleworlds for being a great company. What are you talking about not playing a test version? do you mean the beta? i have been waiting for Bannerlord since 2012, i only got my beta key yesterday, im more motivated than ever to play it when it comes out in one week. Do you mean a demo? EA releases rarely have demos. EA in it self is kind of a test version, you will be able to play that.

And might I stress again it's literally a week away? If you've kept up with bannerlord over the years it shouldn't come as a surprise that the price tag is what it is. Give it a month or something till you can afford it easier. By then people on the forums will be able to tell you if it's worth it to buy at the time, where you can best purchase it, etc.
(Also, Taleworlds are not obligated to 'reward' people. If you can't wait the extra week because they don't, forget what we said and do what you want)

Not like this hellhole Epic Store.

1. No. Oblivion is still one of the most modded games in history, and came out 3 years before Steam Workshop...the Nexus community is still one of the largest modding communities in the world.

2. No. Making a statement is easy when you do not actually present an argument to be refuted. Name a single thing Steam has done to "raise" the level of PC gaming...this should be fun because there is nothing original about Steam, its everything that already existed put into a single client, intruding on gaming and all while taking money from developers...which is not innovating at all.

3. Not being like the hellhole that is Epic Store does not really mean anything. A pile of poop that is smaller or less creamy than another is no less a pile of poop.

Your personal opinion of the game is not a defense of Steam. I ask you to point to a single mod on the Workshop that is within 300,000 downloads of any of the top 100 downloaded mods on NexusMods for Skyrim.

Go on...all Skyrim players had to have Steam so there is ZERO reason for NexusMods to have remotely close to the amount of downloads from the Workshop since ALL players must use the Steam client...if you cannot find 1 its proof that the overwhelming majority of the millions of Skyrim players have chosen an outside site, with an outside mod-controller over the one the company tried to force everyone to use.

Now answer why...Steam Workshop blows.

People use nexus mods for Skyrim because it needs so many different mods to even work, because its an unfinished game. Nexus mods is better than steam workshop when your game needs multiple complete overhaul mods to make the game playable.

Also, bigger mods have to go on Nexus because steam workshop has a size limit, and many would rather upload and download it as one file rather than in big chunks.

That's very interesting. Thanks for your post, I didn't know that.
I always thought Steam makes always money or charges Developers for Review-Copies etc.

Again, your opinion of the game is not a defense. All owners of Skyrim had to use Steam and thus had the Workshop for mods...they choose an outside parties software and site to get and use mods. That is the ONLY information that matters here and you hate it because your argument holds no water.

This game will ALSO require mods and will, if the developers did not lock anything down, have a very long life due to said mods...and much like the original and Warband, did not, nor does it now, NEED Steam. That is the argument, that is what you have not refuted.

Also...many Warband mods could not even be uploaded to the Workshop because of the mod size limits...and you think that will not be an issue with Bannerlord? lol...
