It seems the option allowing to equip your soldiers has disapeared in version pre10. Is that intended ?

you're not clear. whose soldiers are you talking about?

Right. In pre9 there was an option: Camp -> Manage your party's inventory.

If I'm not mistaken, this allowed to equip your soldiers with the weapons or the armor you wanted.

This option is gone now.

I hope it is clearer now.

a lot clearer
the option is still available i think (camp - take an action - manage party's inventory/item pool), but it's not used exactly for equip your soldiers (let it be your companions or your troops). it was some kind of "bug" in previous version. in pre10, your companion lords won't equip themselves from the party's item pool, unless you set the upgrade management of your party members. if you give them fiefs, make them lords of your kingdom, they will keep the equipment which you gave them manual, with 'let me see your equipment' option. the party's item pool is useful when your inventory is full, but you want more item to trade with.

Do you mean equiping people from this pool was only supposed to work with companions, not regular troops ?
If so, then it's not a big loss, and I'm wrong from the beginning. I thought this worked for every soldier, and would allow something like giving chainmail suits to town levies without upgrading them.

And I checked everywhere in pre10, the option is removed. It's neither in "Camp" menu, nor in "Take an action" or "mod options".

Do you have a companion? It only appears after a companion joins your party.
