Where is the key located on my computer?

Bought this game forever ago and it still works, just wondering where I can find the key on my computer so I can activate it on Steam/remember where it is for safekeeping.

If you want to find your serial key:

Hit the Windows Key and R, which will bring up a Run... window.
Then type "regedit" in that window and press enter.

Once there, navigate the tree to the location I indicated:

HKEY_CurrentUser->Software->MountAndBladeWarbandKeys

On the right hand side you should see a list of things like serial_key.

(I'd then recommend recording it here on the website for easy future retrieval)

Awesome, thanks! Trying to figure out how to activate this on Steam. It's a 4x4 key, so I think I may be out of luck but we'll see what happens.

If you didn't buy through Steam, you won't be able to activate it on Steam.
You can add it as a non-Steam game and have access to the chat client, but there's not a way to get achievements unless you bought the game via Steam (or in a box so it came through Steam).
