Where is the ARMOR?

I'm really intrigued by this, would you mind answering these questions :
In what version of the game did you start this playthrough?
Can you define high tier armour?
What's your Clan Tier and level?

I made this suggestion to add item modifiers to armours like in Warband, hoping that armours with bad modifiers would spawn 'commonly' enough to be seen. It might interest those of us that want to see a way to find high tier armours in shops.

Currently level 17, Clan Tier 3.
Played since the very launch of EA (1.0), it's my only playthrough.
I just ran around a couple of Vlandian cities for you to provide a couple of images. This run wasn't too successful in terms of finding high-end armours, nonetheless, I'm providing some images. All of these images contain armours I had not seen before the 1.2 patch in my 54-hour singleplayer playtime (despite looking through all the armours in every trader during every town visit)

Do notice the Aserai Robe over Mail I'm wearing as it's Tier 6, not seen ever before and found immediately after applying the patch (savegame was right outside of a previously visited Aserai town, after the patch the armour appeared immediately)
The rest below are not high-end armours, but have only appeared immediately after the patch

i tried updating from a non beta branch game to 1.2.0, i didnt find jack, started a new game just to see if i can. So far I'm seeing new versions of the mid tier leather armors that I havent seen before, so I'm hopeful. They really need to remove the ridiculous prices on gear, it's so annoying and immersion breaking. If you are worried about the player having too much money and nothing to spend it on, then MAKE HIGH TIER TROOPS COST MORE!!! Knights cost a fortune in medieval times, you needed a fief just to maintain ONE, we can have an elite cataphract cost more than 30g a day...

Well, I'm tier 6 and I didnt ever seen in towns even a sole imperial legionary armor, not to mention their scale armor. The only way I've found to get hands on some of those, is tournamentXp mod, making rewards be chosenable and re-rollable, AND, disabling picking them from the town inventory pool)
