Where is the ARMOR?

I know that supposedly 200+ armors got added back into the game, but where the hell are they???
I've travelled all the empire cities for 20 days, and their armor never updated and just has crap tier armor. Is everything locked behind clan tier? (i'm clan tier 2 right now)

If that's the case then this is ****ing stupid. How am I getting the armor for my legionaries then??? I can buy all their freaking armor for like 200 gold but a POS tier 3 helmet costs me 10k in town??

Like, I'm the best warrior in the company (besides the insanely OP companions, who I cant get geared either), and I'M THE FREAKING LEADER, I'm paying everyone to fight for me, but I have to run around in **** armor? C'mon, man this is just immersion breaking, not to mention a lucky javelin ends me on realistic.

if there's no bonus to speed, it wont, because i dont one tap tournament tanks with javelins, even if i get a headshot.

I'm fairly sure its not clan tier, but cities seem to never update the gear in stores. The quantities change, but the items types don't.

I have the same question. There are some mid tier armors that appeared, but they are really expensive for the protection that they provide. Vlandia is still without any body armor for sale. Most shoulder armor is gone from the shops and the price of shoulder armor has gone through the roof.

The armor situation is the game really stinks. Time for mods I guess.

It's ridiculous having to steal the armour from the spouse, honestly. I don't know what major screw up happened this time, but it is frnkly embarrassing we're still at this point after six ****ing years in development... I am honestly wondering if they tested anything at all, given the overwhelming amount of things that just refuse to work. The shops are the last of a list of bugs that **** up the game to the point it is not worth playing and the fact it is an obscure niche they cornered the market for doesn't justify such malpractice. We're getting into sue-worthy territory

Did anybody find high tier armours in the Beta 1.2.0.? It said it should've fixed it but I still did not see any armours but I waited for two seasons and did back and forth between town with smithies.

2 seasons seem too short wait a little more. Also it might be not a save game compatible change.

I agree, that's too short, my question was for anybody, so somebody that waited longer than me or started a new game. I just want the mystery to be over and know for example 'Ok I can start a new game and then I will be able to buy armours'

Years into the game, it is apparent that the shops are still stuck and unable to restock with higher tiers of armour. I don't know why they keep on lying on the patch notes. They need to give an option to have weapons and armors made bespoke, otherwise it is impossible to get the one you want

Yes, as soon as I updated the game I went to check the stores and they suddenly started selling high tier armor, about 1-2 in almost every town, with no waiting for restock. Checked aserai, vlandian, sturgian and imperial towns. I think imperial towns had the least but still a bit.

I noticed this specifically because I had been running around in the same old hauberk since like 5 hours into the game and had searched for armor everywhere.

In what version of the game did you start this playthrough?
Can you define high tier armour?
What's your Clan Tier and level?

I made this suggestion to add item modifiers to armours like in Warband, hoping that armours with bad modifiers would spawn 'commonly' enough to be seen. It might interest those of us that want to see a way to find high tier armours in shops.
