Need More Info Where is my computer failing to run Bannerlord?

So I know my computer has aged considerably and that I'm pretty much at the end with it keeping up with modern games. But my understanding is my computer should be able to run Bannerlord, if only on lower graphic settings, but I can't run it at all. Here are my specs:
Intel Core I7 CPU 920 @ 2,67ghz
12288 MB Ram
Nvidia GeForce GTX 580 - approx. Total Memory: 4039 MB

But the weirdest thing is when I load up bannerlord and go to performance settings my estimated GPU memoray usage says its 1931 mb / 1479 mb on medium settings.
So what's going on here? My novice understanding is that its reading my video memory as only 1479 and not using the total 4039. Is that correct? I don't mind if my computer can't run it but I need to know what my problem is before I can try to fix it. Thank you for your help

I think your issue is more from your GPU. That is a REALLY old GPU and GPUs typically don't age well.

Also, from limited research it would appear your card only has 1.5GB of memory (there were some limited models with 3GB but they seem to have been rare), so the game is reporting it correctly.

Most definitely that GPU is a big problem, you need to get a new one. Preferably a GTX 1050 at least
