Where did my ship go?

I bought a ship for 5k and after figuring out how to land it disappeared right after, is it 5k just to have a 1 time use ship? I thought you could travel around on it forever.

That is most certainly NOT right. The ship should remain where ever you disembarked from it, not disappear! 5k for a short ship ride would just suck anyways. What would be the point? I'd rather pay the 1 morale and 10 cents a mile deal that the ferries have. This might be a side-effect from the latest patch, or it just might be a bug that you've newly discovered.

I'm using 1.32. So far no bugs, just this damnable rain effect. If that's a bug from 1.32 I don't know. I don't know what I'm doing in this mod, so maybe it's sitting somewhere. I just clicked on a coastal city and hit disembark even though I was nowhere near it. I spawned on the shore near where I was at sea.

If that's how it is I'll just stay in Ireland and get filthy rich selling iron and salt and then pay another 5k when I want to go to the big island and make a mark.

The boat sits where you got off at the shore, if you don't know where that was run up and down the coast to find it.

I remember one time with my boat, where  I had misplaced it. The olde ship was found along the coast, where I left it...was looking to far south initiallly
  Hopefully like in my specific case you'll find it..

I had ended up buying another ship and an hour or so later I saw a ship sitting by the coast that was mine. It wasn't there before. It works now.
