Where are my companions ?

I explain my problem. I began a new game with the last version of native expansion.
Quickly in game, I took a town from black army and I became king. Game asked me to choose one of my companions to be like my chambellan. Then I lost the town and impossible to find my companion. I lost two of them with this way (Bahestur and Klethi). I went to taverns in many towns, impossible to see them.
In reports, when I choose characters, it's written there are at unknow location.
Are they still somewhere or I lost them definitively ?

Most likely they're lost until you have a court established somewhere, then they should become available.

It's possible that only the second will be available though, with the first lost forever. I have encountered an issue with disappearing companion but detected it too late to be sure of the reason. Definitely not the loss of my court though, so there might be more than one way to lose a companion permanently ATM.
