When... WHEN????

There were some unexpected errors on the road, and the stuff I was working on took some more time than I had expected. Then Christmas arrived, and real life stuff got in the way. I was away for most of the time during the days, so I had to work during the nights. And sleep? Well, the past week, or maybe one-an-a-half week, I lifed on four or five hours a sleep a day on average. Anyway, I just finished the parts I definiately wanted to have finished for this update, and I'm packing the files for the expanded version right now. Uploading to all mirrors won't be finished in the morning, and I'll have to go to work during the day: if nothing goes wrong while I'll be away, the update will be there during the evening, else during the night.

Almost there, folks, almost there... Then I can continue to work on 2.3, since there's still quite some stuff that needs to be done.

Ill second that... I didnt realize the making of 2.2 was so stressful. I and a lot of others are grateful for you taking time to make this mod. Thanks monnikje! You rock!!

Well, something did go wrong while I was asleep, and I have to go to work now: expect it to be later this night to be fully uploaded.

Please do not hurry, people appreciate when you release mods sooner, but i think that they will appreciate even more if you create a perfect, bugless mod.

Not the mod's fault if you're crashing I think as most of us run it fine with just a few errors.

The patches very likely aren't going to fix crashes unless there are missing/mislabeled textures or they remove numerous items.
-For the first, I don't know that there are any missing textures left, but perhaps I've missed those bug reports.
-Second, from monnikje and Duh's statements, it doesn't sound like trimming back the number of items is a priority for the expanded pack, but may come in a third more "limited" pack at some unknown future time.

This is because most crashes are due to game engine/Windows/memory-handling errors dealing with the huge number of items, textures, graphics and the load they place on game memory. Scripting bug-fixes will have no effect on this.

Speaking from the peanut gallery, things only get stressful when people make incessant posts and threads demanding progress.

The only real reason why I'm anxious for 2.2 to be released is the fix to the Rhodok crossbow troops, I'm in a game at the moment playing as Rhods and half my crossbows are infantry...needless to say I had to put it on pause until 2.2 comes out and the Balestra di Assedio  get fixed.

I demand satisfaction! (runs away with an angry crowd of trolls wandering aimlessly with torches and pitchforks)
